Taking it steady

Well, it's been a while since I last posted, a combination of the annoying issues and being massively busy at work, then of course the festivities and customary winter illness has meant not a lot of running.

However, this has given me chance to work on stability and continue with the drills set out in the follow up session with James Dunne.

These seem to have been going well although I am still getting the odd twinge in the same areas after a relatively short run (up to 10km). I'm beginning to think this is as good as it's going to get but will carry on with the exercises and stretching as suggested by James @KineticRev

This  video is a variation on a glute strengthening exercise I first saw in an email from Kinetic Revolution a while back. So called Hot Salsa as your backside aches the next day and I can certainly say it lives up to its name!



I'm aiming to get back into proper training soon but will be managing it carefully with some healthy sessions on the Concept2......
