Shoes
I've been using Newton Running shoes for a good few years now. They're slightly different to usual shoes in that they have a fairly low heel to toe drop and have a set of lugs at the forefoot to promote a mid-foot landing style.

Nutrition
My food of choice during and after a long run is:
- High5 isogel energy gels
- Cliff Bar - peanut butter flavour
- Myprotein shakes
I normally just take water out in a camelbak and don't tend to bother with energy drinks.
